Big Ten Baseball Tournament champions: IU 13, Minnesota 2.

I didn't have the chance to watch the game and haven't been near a computer since it ended, but IU finished an unbelievably dominant Big Ten Tournament run by beating Minnesota 13-2 last night.  IU outscored its opposition 47-9 during four tournament games.  The Hoosiers now advance to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history and first time since 1996, when IU won its only previous Big Ten Tournament title.   Much more on this in the next few days.  Congratulations to Coach Tracy Smith and the team.

Got to see some of this game

And it was great to see. I don’t know if it’s remotely possible to carry this dominating performance through the NCAA Tournament, but I hope they can make a great run to redeem a lot of athletic disappointment this year.

Can’t wait to see where they’ll be headed.
