Kellen Lewis is done.
Any lingering quarterback controversy is over, it seems. According to the Hoosier Scoop, Lewis has been removed from the team for the catch-all "violation of team rules." Lewis, of course, was suspended for spring practice last season and had a spotty 2008 season after excelling in 2007. His switch to wide receiver this spring was panned by many, including me, but the presumed necessity of this move does seem to vindicate Bill Lynch's decision.
Lewis is a talented guy and has been a favorite of mine since his amazing debut against Ball State in 2006. I really hope he gets his life together.
More on this later, probably.

Hate to hear this
But it seemed to be a possibility after last spring, but I was hoping he could get it together. It’s unfortunate because his skills. I hope he can make the most of his education and find a good future, even if it’s not with the Indiana football team.
