Hoosiers to host Maryland in BT/ACC Challenge.

Per Peegs and the Hoosier Scoop, IU will host Maryland at Assembly Hall in the 2009 Big Ten/ACC Challenge.  This is the second time IU has played Maryland in the challenge.  In 2002-03, in a rematch of the previous season's NCAA championship game, IU beat Maryland in 80-74 in overtime after Steve Blake's desperation heave to win it for Maryland in regulation was determined to have been just after time expired.

Should be a good game

Maryland isn’t at their height right now, and I don’t know honestly what to expect from the Hoosiers this year, but this could be a great chance to showcase what we’ve got coming up and in a longer stretch, possibly get a W to go with it. We’ll have to wait and see, I guess.
