Michigan State at Indiana open thread.
I'll try to watch this one live and chime in here and there. It's a bit of a sacrifice to watch this year's team without the fast forward button, but such is life.

Eh.
It will be a tough go of it if Dumes can’t come back. Also, finish the bunnies, Tom. Nice defense by Dumes on the 3 on 1, but MSU always gets the offensive board.

Microcosm of the season.
How many chances to take the lead so far, yet a bad shot or a turnover or general bumbling gets in the way.

IU is shooting 50 percent from the field and MSU has only 3 offensive rebounds, but MSU is up 7. At least IU is in technical striking distance if things change.

We’ve seen this one before. Oh well.

I do hate it when refs troll for technicals. Oh well, I fear that wide open VJIII three was it.
As for the Boilers, I would be happy to give you guys some false hope for a few more days.

I'll take any hope I can get
Be it false or otherwise.
Damn, that dunk by Morgan was nasty.
Too many opportunities missed.

Oh well. Strong effort, but what else is new? MSU played its D-minus game and we couldn’t capitalize.

man, that was a good game
Indiana gets teams on the ropes but can’t knock them out. I am sure next year is going to be a different story.
We just needed a couple players, a couple people to buy in to the fact and we were able to do it. --A.Q. Shipley
Scrappy Game, Same Result
Tough loss, but you can’t help but see the progress from this squad no matter how outmanned and inexperienced. Sloppy at times sure, but they are getting it you can tell. Help is on the way.
One of the finest Rebound Dunks I’ve seen at any level of basketball. An off night for MSU. I expect them to reach at least the Elite 8.
The Crean-Izzo feud could be one to make note of.
SECTIONALS WATCH: Jordan Hulls leads the undefeated Bloom South squad into the 1st round as the team to beat, nationally ranked, and the Mr. Basketball frontrunner. Elston’s squad is also #1 in his class. Would be something to grab a pair of State Titles.
