Malik Story to transfer.
The story is now everywhere, including Inside the Hall, The Hoosier Scoop, an the Indianapolis Star, but Malik Story is leaving the program. Story is from Los Angeles, so the "closer to home" rationale makes sense, but obviously something had to happen with either IU's incoming class or the returning players given scholarship numbers.
Story played 17 minutes a game and averaged 5.9 points per game. His best performance was a 14 points hwoing on 6-9 from the field at Minnesota.

I think
he saw the writing on the wall and realized that he won’t get much playing time next year and decided he should head home. I would think he’d have a school in mind but I guess that isn’t the case. I wish him the best of luck.
If things came easy, then everybody would be great at what they did, let's face it.

something had to give
We had a situation brewing where some scholarship room had to open up. He probalby realized that playing time will be scarce for him with the incoming class, so I wish him good luck and hope things work out. I also hope things are looking up for us, being as that we will still be very young, but this takes time
