BOB KNIGHT HAS NO RIGHT!
Being a former Hoosier, what the heck is Bob Knight thinking? He has no right to criticize anybody after all the crap he pulled during his coaching career, and if he wanted to really make a statement, he would have gone after former Indiana coach Sampson for his shenanigans. This whole thing is out of whack, and now Calipari is responding. Check out some of these comments

Knight has always been intolerant of those he considered cheaters. He was critical of Sampson both before and after he was hired by Indiana. Knight certainly had his flaws and did things he shouldn’t have done, but he ran IU’s basketball program successfully and ethically.

Knight’s point was that Calipari has left his last two schools (Mass and Memphis) on probation from the NCAA, and he’s still coaching. Sampson, after the IU debacle, left two schools on probation and he’s not a coach in the NCAA anymore. Sure Knight had his issues, but despite all that his player’s for the most part loved him and stood by him. Sure he was rough, but he also taught those kids what they needed to be successful in both life in basketball and to be men. he was also beloved among the fans. a former player once said that Knight was a father figure to the kids, that when they needed someone to talk to his door was always open. he did have his share of controversy but that doesn’t speak for the whole man.
personally, i think Calipari is dirty and just hasn’t been caught. he’s the common denominator between his last two schools and where there’s smoke there’s fire. it’s just a matter of time before UK is sanctioned.

Yes he does because Cal is a cheater.
and if he wanted to really make a statement, he would have gone after former Indiana coach Sampson for his shenanigans
If Kelvin were still coaching in the NCAA I’m sure he would’ve said something but unlike Cal, Kelvin had to run to the NBA to get a job because nobody wanted his cheating ass. I support Coach Knights statement, he ran a clean program and never cheated. Yes the choking incident and a few of his other shinaigans were out of line but who of us didn’t want to choke Neal Reid and his leprechaun looking self.

how many coaches in the history of the ncaa have had two final four trips stripped because of violations, and why are more reporters not talking about it? i just listened to the cbs halftime show guy call out bob knight because, “memphis and umass were never on probation.” correct, but they both lost their seasons because of this guy! it is unreal how sampson, who i hate, got banned for 5 years and calipari is allowed to just keep on coaching. knight isn’t perfect, but there isn’t a more qualified coach to call out johnny boy about cheating.
