I understand that the poll has to take into account "body of work"

But, thinking head-to-head, I do believe that Ohio State is going to bitch-slap Iowa this upcoming weekend. Not sure that I want that. I just think that Ohio State is the more complete team, and has not subsisted on charmed luck so far this season.

I would have to agree.

The Purdue game aside, Ohio State has been better the Iowa. If you compare the performances against IU then it’s no contest. We should have beaten Iowa. We were basically never even in the game against Ohio State.

Yeah, I think Ohio State will win, but the have lost two games, including one inexcusable and lopsided loss. Re: your point below, TCU probably is too low and I will consider moving them up in the final ballot.

From what I have seen of the two teams...

I believe that Cincinnati is better than Iowa. Cincinnati being in the Big East is going to hurt them from a respect standpoint with most voters, but I think they are very good on both sides of the ball.

For the same reason that you have kept Iowa ranked so high throughout the season, I would think that TCU should be no lower than 7th.
