Incoming scholarship players who will be eligible in 2009-10: Jeremiah Rivers (guard from Georgetown, two years of eligibility)
Returning walk-ons: Brett Finkelmeier (sophomore guard).
Incoming walk-ons: Daniel Moore (guard from Carmel); Kory Barnett (guard from Rochester); Broderick Lewis (guard from Lafayette Jefferson)

Is that rule gone? Or does it not apply to IU due to the extenuating circumstances?

IU still could end up in a scholarship crunch, depending on what the NCAA does, but for now, IU can fill all of its available scholarships. If the rule were still in place or not waive, either a) Crean would have extended some second chances or b) I would be on the team next year.
