Ratliff to miss tonight's game.

Stay connected for news and updates
AJ Ratliff, who missed the first semester for academic reasons, is staying home tonight to "deal with a family member," per Ratliff's guardian (as reported by Hoosier Scoop). Ratliff, who shot 40 percent from three point range and scored 9.3 points per game last year, has been brutal this year in the nine games since his return (18.5% from the field, 16.5% from three, 1.7 ppg). His 2-7 from the field performance in the first Illinois game accounted for his season high of 7 points (he has only eight points in the other eight games). Hopefully, AJ can resolve whatever issues he is addressing today and also regain his 2006-07 form, but he has shown no sign of it so far.
